Luffa Pot Scrubbers - set of 5
These loofah kitchen scrubbies are a sustainable alternative to plastic pot scrubbers! Loofah is a vegetable that grows in warmer climates and looks a bit like a big cucumber. They’re harvested, dried, peeled and the deseeded. It’s this inner fibrous core that becomes a natural and effective effoliator.
The first step is to rehydrate these scrubbies by simply adding water (they’ll poof up like magic – it’s pretty fun do with the kids). Then they’re ready to use. Keep them in a dry place in between uses. To clean, pop them into the dishwasher or boil them on the stove in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes or give them a quick soak in vinegar. Once they’ve reached the end of their use, they can be composted at home and will completely biodegrade.
