Reusable Facial Rounds

from Green Co.

Each day, 1.3 billion makeup remover wipes are thrown into the trash. Yearly that equals 7.6 billion pounds of makeup remover wipes that end up in landfill. This makes makeup remover wipes one of the most wasteful products in the world.

The Green Co. provides an alternative to these wasteful wipes; the reusable makeup remover pads. This box comes with 14 pads that you can wash easily in a laundry machine (with the mesh bag provided) and reuse up to 14,000 times, replacing thousands of wipes!

Included in the Spring Eco-box are 14 reusable cotton rounds/makeup remover pads with a mesh laundry bag. The pads are double-sided; one is made of bamboo fiber (for exfoliating) and the other is cotton velvet (for soft and gentle cleansing).

Bamboo Hair Brush

This eco-conscious hair brush is made from bamboo, naturally sourced rubber and contains no plastic or animal products. We love bamboo because it’s one of the fastest growing plants on the planet that also requires no pesticides to grow!

Not only is a bamboo hair brush a better option for the planet, it’s also a better option for you and the health of your hair. Our hairbrush has large bamboo bristles are gentle, durable and help to naturally condition your hair by evenly distributing your hair’s natural oils. The extra wide bristles are less likely to break your hair when using as well. They don’t produce any static compared to synthetic brushes and combs. Plus, the wooden bristles are like a scalp massage and will help increase circulation bringing nutrients to the hair follicles.

All-Natural Loofah Pot Scrubbers (Set of 2)

These loofah kitchen scrubbies are a sustainable alternative to plastic pot scrubbers! We’re pretty excited about loofah. Loofah is a vegetable that grows in warmer climates and looks a bit like a big cucumber. They’re harvested, dried, peeled and the deseeded. It’s this inner fibrous core that becomes a natural and effective effoliator.

The first step is to rehydrate these scrubbies by simply adding water (they’ll poof up like magic – it’s pretty fun do with the kids). Then they’re ready to use. Keep them in a dry place in between uses. To clean, pop them into the dishwasher or boil them on the stove in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes or give them a quick soak in vinegar. Once they’ve reached the end of their use, they can be composted at home and will completely biodegrade.
